Arglwydd, agor im' dy fynwes,
  I gael gwel'd y cariad llawn
Lifodd allan, fel y moroedd,
  Ar Galfaria un prydnawn:
    Rhoddaist yno,
  Dros y byd anfeidrol iawn.

Dangos, Iesu, iti farw
  Dros dylwythau'r ddaear gron;
Iti ar y croesbren chwerw
  Brynu holl drigolion hon:
    Dyro gymhorth,
  I gyhoeddi hyn yn llawn.

  Arglwydd arwain trwy'r anialwch
  Tyred Geidwad cyffredinol

Lord, open to me thy bosom,
  To get to see the full love
That flowed out, like the seas,
  On Calvary one afternoon:
    Thou gavest there,
  For the world immeasurable atonement.

Show, Jesus, that thou didst die
  For the tribes of the round world;
That thou on the bitter wooden cross
  Redeem all its inhabitants:
    Give help,
  To publish this fully.
